Last night before the sun set, I decided that instead of our usual walk, it would be fun to play in the yard with Maggie for a while. It's amazing how much dogs love to play, how much they love tennis balls, how much they love dirt. And it's equally amazing to watch how excited she gets every time the ball is thrown in the air, eager to see where it lands and hopeful that she can catch it in her mouth before it hits the ground.
